1 tbs white sugar
1 tsp fine salt
100ml tequila
30ml Patrón Citronge liqueur
40ml lime juice
¼ cup (60ml) mango puree, plus extra 2 tablespoons to serve
2 cups crushed ice
method
- Place sugar and salt on a plate and stir to combine. Moisten the rim of two tumblers. Place tequila, Patron citronge, lime juice and mango puree and ice in a blender and whiz until thick and smooth. Spread a tablespoon of mango puree into the side each glass and fill with frozen margarita. Serve immediately.
